This Steel Hive tool is powder coated a yellow so it's easy to spot. Bees seal every little crack with propolis to keep out air and it dries like glue. Hive tools are used for prying open hive boxes that the bees have "glued" together. They are also good for scraping frames and moving them in the hive.
