The Pine J Nuc Box is designed for long life and durability. The box is made of Northern White Pine and the top is made of 3/4" MDO sign plywood and has a dado cut in the bottom so it can't move from side to side. the depth of the frame ledge has been increased to compensate for the inset. The bottom has a screen for full ventilation and blocks are attached to the bottom to allow for ventilation and stacking. All the joints are glued and stapled. A small piece of pine comes with the J J Nuc to seal the entrance and also serves as an entrance reducer.
the J Nuc Box holds 5 standard deep body frames ( not included) and comes assembled, dipped, unpainted or painted. All our J Nuc Pine boxes are hand crafted by us in the USA. Frames and foundations are proudly made in the USA.
